Life is Richly Lived in the Present Moment(s) - Let Every Moment Flow
There is a saying that goes: “If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.” For centuries, the greatest thinkers have suggested the same thing: Happiness is found in helping others. The key is to find the approach that works for each of us and our own individual passions. When we do, the more we give, the more we stand to gain purpose, meaning and happiness — all of the things that we look for in life, but are so hard to find. And so, the purpose of life is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well. And happiness will flow from there.
